What is the best seat to get to watch the phantom of the opera?

I have heard that most of the play take place high up in the stage and the seats sold as closest to the stage may not be the most ideal even though they are considered the "best" seats in the house. So which section do I want to sit in to get the best view?

Okay I personally like sitting in the front row (Broadway), but I've also seen the show 23 times. If you're seeing the national tour...go farther back because the stage is raised 2 feet and you can't see too much if you sit in the front row.

So I actually suggest maybe rows 4 - 10 on the left side closer to the center because that's where a lot of the action occurs.

At the 10th row (which are considered "producer seats") you'll be able to see when the phantom is running around the procentheum and get the chandelier effect.

defenatly orchestra, row 5 or 6 center would be the best
most of the play takes place on the stage, however there is some in 'fake' balconies on the play. However there are alot of special effects. Choose a seat were you can see the entire stage. Maybe somewhere below the chandler....
